One of the main reasons poker is popular is because it enables players to bluff other players. Often, players will make a raise or check when they are holding the right hand, but not when they have the wrong hand. Despite the fact that bluffing is often a good tactic, there are also bad practices to watch out for. Such bad habits include playing while you are not in a hand, talking with the other players, and revealing your holding to the other players.
